Duties and Responsibilities:

The role of Assistant Operations Manager involves in supporting the Operations Manager in strategizing, implementing, and maintaining effective procedures for team to work effectively & independently.

Summary of Principal Job Responsibility & Specific Job Duties and Responsibilities:

  • Managing field operations, deployment & execution are delivered effectively (Operational Excellent).
  • Setting, communicating, and maintaining timelines and priorities on every project.
  • Communicating, maintaining, and developing client, store buyer, sales team relationship.
  • Providing leadership, motivation, direction, and support to the team.
  • Attend monthly / quarterly project review.
  • Ensure all activation is done according to plan from start to finish according to requirements, target and objectives.
  • Propose suggestions to enhance the activation and event's success.
  • Assist OM in hiring of Field Operations personnel.
  • Coordinate / supervise on all operational matters.
  • Analyze the activation's performance & report feedbacks to OM & respective AP.
  • Ensure GL & FS KPI's expectation are met.
  • Ensure project KPI's and expectation are met.
  • Conduct outlet visit as plan.
  • Handle daily operational issues & attempt issues within 24 hours.
  • Retail AIM and Power BI support.
  • Coaches and counsel operations team to reflect company service standard operation procedures.
  • Evaluate & feedback outlet performance to be reported to OM & respective AP.
  • Making sure all operational activities & activation stay within the allocated budget.

Academic Qualification(s):

Candidates must possess at least SPM / Diploma / Advance Diploma / Bachelor's Degree in business administration, operations management or equivalent.

Work Experience / Skills Requirement(s);

  • At least 3 years of work experience in FMCG industry.
  • Computer proficiency in Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint)
  • Experience in handling daily operational issues.
  • Strong organizational skills including attention to detail ad multitasking skills.
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and meet deadlines.
  • Able to lead by example, maintain good spirits and contribute team morale.
  • Results-oriented and able to work under pressure.
  • Taking Ownership of accounts and providing effective solutions to situations.
  • Possess own transport.
  • Able to work on weekends.
