Business Development Executive/ Manager

About the role 

We are looking for a Business Development Executive/ Manager to join our team and drive the growth of RetailAIM, our retail technology and field force automation platform. RetailAIM combines retail execution, data, automation, and AI to help businesses improve how they manage and execute their operations. This is an exciting opportunity for someone who wants to be at the intersection of Sales, Technology, Retail, and AI.

You won't just be selling software. You'll work closely with customers to understand their challenges, design the right solution, demonstrate its value, and help bring the solution to life.

Key Responsibilities

• Drive new business opportunities by identifying, engaging, and developing relationships with potential customers, clients, and resellers.
• Understand customer business and system requirements through discussions, site surveys, information gathering, and solution planning.
• Lead pre-sales activities including RFQ/RFP responses, solution presentations, product demonstrations, Proof of Concepts (POCs), and technical proposals.
• Develop solution proposals, including scope of work, system sizing, licensing, technical requirements, and cost estimates.
• Work closely with project managers and software engineers throughout implementation, deployment, training, commissioning, and post-sales support.

Requirement(s)

• Bachelor's Degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field, or equivalent work experience.
• Minimum 4 years of experience in IT, system integration, technology sales, pre-sales, post-sales, or product strategy.
• Experience in retail systems, FMCG technology, POS, ERP, SaaS, field force automation, or system integration is an advantage.
• Strong understanding of both business and technical requirements, with the ability to translate customer needs into practical solutions.
• Strong analytical, problem-solving, troubleshooting, presentation, and negotiation skills.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to engage both technical and non-technical stakeholders.
• Strong sales drive, commercial mindset, and passion for achieving targets.
• Willingness to travel for customer meetings, site visits, product demonstrations, and project implementation when required.
