Duties and Responsibilities:
A copywriter works directly below the creative director. They are responsible for generating creative content that fits the project requirements bringing engaging concepts that fulfill client expectations.
Summary of Principal Job Responsibility & Specific Job Duties and Responsibilities:
- Proofreading copy to check spelling and grammar.
- Draft creative content mainly for POSM material developed by the creative team that boosts the client's brand awareness.
- Writing clear, concise, and grammatically correct copy.
- Work closely with the creative team to integrate the copy with graphic images or video presentations.
- Amending, revising, or redeveloping content in response to feedback from the creative director, creative team, or clients.
- Responsible to take information and create content with the goal to be engaging, creative, and informative.
- Understanding different language styles that appeal to various target markets.
- Prepare or write in different styles and tones for different marketing materials, such as articles, newsletters, speeches, and other publicity materials for the company that can meet the company objectives and is able to enhance the company image & reputation.
Academic Qualification(s):
Candidates must possess at least a Diploma / Advance Diploma / Bachelor's Degree in Mass Communications / English / Journalism or a related field.
Work Experience / Skills Requirement(s):
- Training provided.
- Excellent writing, editing and proofreading skills,
- Excellent time-management and organizational skills.
- Excellent communication skills.
- Responsible, committed, and punctual at delivering work.
- Detailed in execution and passionate in creativity.
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and meet deadlines.
